CEM: high-quality Made in Italy goes on stage at METS

CEM ELETTROMECCANICA was established in 1970 as a manufacturer of electric pumps and DC motors widely used in the boating sector. The experience gained, combined with constant growth, has enabled the company to become a leader in the electromechanical sector destined for the boating world.

The broadening of the product range has also contributed to CEM becoming one of the major partners of even large shipyards such as: BENETEAU GROUP, RIVA, BALTIC YACHT, NAUTOR SWAN, NUMARINE, BLUEGAME.

During METS TRADE in Amsterdam, we met with the owner of the company, Andrea Corradi, who told us about the plans and future developments of CEM.

“Thanks to the high quality of the materials used in construction and design as well as the production processes within CEM, the company guarantees outstanding performance and unique product durability, even when used in harsh environments such as the marine one,” Andrea tells us.

Today, CEM operates in European and Asian markets and plans to develop in America through new dealers. The most popular products are blowers and autoclaves for boats 70 feet and up, although the ventilation-dedicated product line is also fitted to smaller units.

The quality that distinguishes CEM is also supported by the tests carried out by the company to provide assurance of the highest reliability and robustness of products installed by its customers.

Andrea tells us that the products are tested under stress in the laboratory for many hours in order to be sure that the material and structure can be stressed for a long time without losing their efficiency.

It is essential on any boat that autoclaves, bilge pumps, and blowers have above-average efficiency and reliability because they make all the difference in case of problems.

“It is on these values and reliability that the company continues to invest and will continue to invest,” Andrea adds.

Today, the company has a widespread presence in Europe and UAE through its dealers and is also experiencing significant growth in the U.S. market.

The next events at which CEM ELETTROMECCANICA will be present are the  DUBAI BOAT SHOW, Hamburg SMM, Genoa Boat Show and again METS 2024, a great commitment to continue to bring our Made in Italy worldwide.
