OA 32E crowned Belle of the Ball at her 2023 Miami Boat Show coming out party

Making her magnificent world stage premiere at One Herald Plaza in the Magic City, this February the exquisite OA 32E was crowned the “Belle of the Ball” at her Friday evening coming out celebration at the 2023 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show (DBMIBS).

Illuminated by the big city bright lights and legendary downtown skyline bordering Biscayne Bay, smooth grooves from the top-deck live musical performance welcomed yachting enthusiasts to admire the sophisticated new 31.2-meter addition to the Explorer series positioned to the right of its 28E sibling, priced at $16.3 million and powered by twin MAN V12 2,000-hp engines.

Her immensity in size and propensity to allure with its open-plan layout is outstanding, but even more important, is the vessel’s versatility. Conducive to a completely relaxing experience, or for taking things up a notch to the opposite end of the spectrum in full-on fiesta mode – either way, activity-filled days on the open seas can be custom tailored to whatever guests wish to do on their journey.

With touches of ingenuity and originality showcased all around, the immense spatial dimensions of OA 32E, pop out the moment you hop onto the flat open aft deck further aggrandized by deploying the folding terraces. This lower level is home base to the beach club cabana flanked by tinted-glass doors and my favorite part, the transparent window overhead facing the deck above.

For those muggy mid-summer days, powering on the air conditioning makes the beach club even more pleasurable, and while you’re at it, you might as well turn on the wall-mounted flat-screen television. Passengers onboard who prefer a splash in the sea, must only stroll out the sliding door to power up the Seabobs and drop in the toys from the portside hoist.

Climbing five steps up the side stairwells leads you to the ideal shaded spot to put your feet up and sit back with a good book or your tablet, on one of the three comfy sofas complemented by a superb panorama overlooking the landscape to the rear. Not far off, acres of glass greet as you make your way into the main saloon fashioned with a soft, light décor only further enhanced by the flooding of natural light. Here indoor meals feel like al-fresco ones, since no matter which seat you choose at the table for ten, you’re rewarded with a “perfect ten” 360-degree waterway view.

Shifting spaces but keeping on the topic of aquatics, opulence knows no bounds on the OA 32E penned by British designer Evan K. Marshall. Sitting center stage inside the en-suite bathroom of the main-deck master stateroom which fills the full 6.7 meter beam, a classy freestanding bathtub channeling the vibe of a five-star Caesars Palace powder room awaits.

And while the tub is only fit for one, the stern-side Jacuzzi on the top deck summons everyone up to enjoy some warm water joy. For those wishing to keep dry, generous-sized sunpads surround it gifting all friends and family onboard with unobstructed vistas that are simply “next-level” Ocean Alexander-style lovely. After the bubbly splash, snatch a tall stool at the indoor upper deck bar and wind down the day or night with a nice espresso. Better yet, make it an espresso martini!

Flawlessly executed in construction with a silhouette overtly indulgent to the eye thanks to her high-end quality components incorporated into the first-class build everywhere you turn from winches and cleats to the technology-laden helm station – the shock and awe of the latest and greatest Explorer certainly added another layer of emotion at her coming out party. With four more units in production and two nearing delivery, it will be exciting to witness who will be crowned Ocean Alexander’s next belle of the ball!
