A new Horizon FD87 has been delivered for Christmas

Horizon FD87: sold to repeat Horizon owner

At an overall length of 90’ with a 23’ 3” beam, an enclosed skylounge, on-deck master stateroom, High Performance Piercing bow and hull design and tremendous interior volume, Horizon’s FD87 Skyline ticks all of the boxes for owners seeking that perfect combination of space, performance and entertainment capabilities.

Built on spec for the American market, the FD87 Hull 11 made her U.S. debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and was delivered just in time for Christmas to a repeat Horizon client who has previously owned an E73 and an E84.

How this Horizon FD87 is done

Configured with an enclosed skylounge and a five-stateroom layout including a full-beam, on-deck master stateroom, the Horizon FD87 boasts a light and airy main salon highlighted by the FD Series’ signature full-height windows.

The galley forward can be separated from the salon via privacy doors and a Hi/Lo island partition with bar-height chairs invites conversations over coffee or cocktails with the chef. The dining area features a convertible table that transforms into a breakfast bar to maximize space.

Outfitted in light oak and walnut with leatherette accents, the spacious master stateroom is also highlighted by large windows. The spacious ensuite features dual washbasins and a shower fitted with mosaic tiles.

Four additional ensuite guest staterooms reside on the lower deck, comprised of a full-beam VIP in the blow, a twin cabin to port and two mirrored VIP staterooms amidships. Quarters for up to four crew are positioned aft of the engines, with access to the large beach club at the stern.

Featuring maximized deck areas, the FD87 Skyline foredeck has been designed with a settee and dinette, sprawling sunpad and large U-shaped seating area forward with under-bed storage to accommodate cocktail hour and sunbathers alike.

Aft of the enclosed skylounge and pilothouse, a bar with stools, a dinette and lounging area and a barbecue invite al fresco relaxation on the boat deck. Additional lounging is found on the main deck aft, which offers dual stairs accessing the Hi/Lo swim platform and fully equipped beach club with bar, settee and television.

Powered by twin MTU engines of 1,600hp each, the FD87 Skyline boasts an island-friendly draft that her new owners plan to enjoy while exploring The Bahamas and Caribbean.
