Tankoa Yachts T680 Fenice, a theatre of excellence

The T680 Fenice from Tankoa Yachts is a luxurious 68-metre superyacht inspired by the famous Venetian theatre: the design is by Enrico Gobbi of the Venice-based studio Team for Design.

T680 Fenice, a travelling theatre of beauty

Tankoa Yachts in collaboration with the design studio Team for Design, has created one of its most spectacular superyachts.

The T680 Fenice is a series of luxurious sea-view stages, with a large beach club aft, designed to be a perfect playroom and relaxation area.

The design borrows the boldest lines from the automotive and aviation industries, for a dynamic and constantly moving look.

The T680 Fenice could not be less triumphant than the place it is inspired by: the famous opera house ‘La Fenice’ in Venice. The 68-metre Genoese super-yacht is a symphony of dynamic design, an immense arena of comfort and luxury: like its namesake, the T680 Fenice is a triumph of Italian art, a passion-packed superyacht.

The T680 Fenice in detail

Tankoa describes its T680 Fenice as the equivalent of a travelling theatre on the sea.

The heart of the superyacht is the 100-square-metre aft saloon, arranged on several levels and including an infinity pool built into the centre, which leads guests directly inside where a gym, spa and lounge are located.

Folding terraces on either side of the hull increase the interior area and twin staircases connect the main deck to the aft platform.

The main saloon is the theatre’s Great Hall: it is a quiet place of comfort and style, one with the terrace and perfect for welcoming guests on board, who can admire the sea through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Forward of the main saloon are two VIP suites and four guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms that catch the light from the large windows.

The lower deck is dedicated to crew accommodation and facilities, including a pro-spec galley, a medical room and a garage with side launch for the tender.

The upper deck is like the gallery and transforms into a circular dining area, where the sun and sea breeze can be enjoyed by opening the full-height sliding glass doors. This dining area is connected to the sky lounge, which has side balconies that can extend out to sea.

The Royal Box is the 90-square-metre master cabin, which takes light from the full-height windows for a 270-degree panorama. With a huge walk-in wardrobe and a lavish marble-clad head, the suite has direct access to a private foredeck with sunbathing area and a glass-enclosed Jacuzzi. This deck area doubles as a touch-and-go helipad.

The exterior and interior spaces have been designed for ease of movement and to ensure maximum relaxation and conviviality.

The T680 Fenice represents the production of the Genoese shipyard, and it could not be otherwise given the long and consolidated history of shipbuilding in the Ligurian capital.

A superyacht to stand out

We understood each other immediately with Enrico and it was a pleasure to develop this project together,” says Giuseppe Mazza, Tankoa Sales and Marketing Manager. “With the T680 we continue to expand the range of Tankoa yachts in order to offer the market an ever-increasing choice of unique projects. Like her namesake, the T680 Fenice is a triumph of poise, rhythm and grace.”

This new project is the result of our desire to be recognised for who we are: a boutique shipyard able to offer a range of unique yachts designed by the best designers,” comments Eva Orsi, President of Tankoa. We are proud of this collaboration with Enrico Gobbi that highlights the unmistakable style, quality, beauty and know-how that goes into making our customers’ dreams come true.”

From the very first moment I started sharing my ideas with Tankoa, I knew I was in the right place with the right people. This is a project characterised by exclusive details that only a ’boutique’ shipyard like Tankoa can make the most of” – says Team of Design CEO Enrico Gobbi – I believe that superyacht projects of this size have to stand out: born from a blank sheet of paper, developed and built to the highest quality standards, which Tankoa has already proven itself capable of doing.
