Against the stunning backdrop of Newport Harbor, the new C-Tender 55S made a triumphant entrance, immediately capturing the attention of boating enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Along the docks and among the booths of the American boat show, Custom Boat Monaco’s flagship model stood out not only for its elegant lines and outstanding craftsmanship but also for the charisma evoked by its overseas debut.
The fact that hundreds of visitors rushed to climb aboard and admire it up close is more than just a number—it’s tangible proof of a true style statement. “Many called it the most beautiful yacht of the show – said Mauro Corvisieri, CEO of Custom Boat Monaco – a recognition that fills us with pride and confirms we’re heading in the right direction”.
Among the show’s most significant moments was the recognition of the C-Tender 55 as a symbol of innovation during the exclusive event hosted by JP Morgan. “An honor that rewards our vision and the passion we bring to our work every day”, Corvisieri commented. And that’s not all: the full presentation of the C-Tender range drew an enthusiastic and curious audience, generating genuine interest in all the models—not just the flagship.
The C-Tender 55S in detail
The genesis of the C-Tender 55S stems from the desire to combine Mediterranean style, high performance, and versatility—even in demanding conditions. Designed under the direction of Mauro Corvisieri, with project management by Davide Zerbinati and naval engineering by Francesco Rogantin (NAMES), alongside Valentino Gabriele and Paolo Tamburini for the exterior and interior design, this yacht represents a refined synthesis of customization and technology.
Measuring 16 meters in length with a maximum beam of 5 meters, the 55S offers remarkable volumes for a next-generation open yacht. Its draft of about 1.20 meters was specifically designed to allow access to shallow waters, a highly appreciated feature in the American market, while the full-load displacement stands at around 27,000 kg. The shipyard adopted a construction strategy inspired by the superyacht world, using state-of-the-art composite materials. Structures, bulkheads, and hull integrate carbon fiber in key areas to reduce weight and increase rigidity. Many exterior components, including furniture and detailing, are produced using 3D printing technology with CF20 carbon fiber for exceptional design freedom and lightness.
One of the most striking features are the fold-down side terraces, designed to expand the walkable area and facilitate “English-style” boarding. When opened, they increase the beam by almost two meters while maintaining harmonious lines and smooth movements thanks to a sophisticated hydraulic system.

The main deck is a celebration of conviviality. Two large opposing sofas, each accommodating six guests, frame a central dinette with an elegant wooden table that can seat up to twelve guests. The aft area hosts two additional facing sofas, perfect for cruising or relaxing while at anchor.
Under the T-top, two fully equipped galley units are laid out: on the starboard side are the grill and double refrigerators, while on the port side there’s a double sink, freezers, and additional refrigerated compartments. This layout has been designed to ensure autonomy and comfort even during extended stays at anchor. The helm station, spacious and well-protected, features three large displays, throttle controls, and a joystick, with twin guest seats on both port and starboard sides next to the central helm seat.

The bow area is dedicated to pure relaxation: a large sunpad for five people is flanked by two facing sofas and numerous integrated cupholders. Completing the setup, a mesh canopy supported by carbon fiber poles provides shaded areas without obstructing the view.
The aft garage is a true engineering masterpiece: it can accommodate two jet skis and integrates a Besenzoni system that combines a retractable gangway with a sea-access platform, also useful when mooring at high docks.
In terms of propulsion, the C-Tender 55S is powered by two 1,000-hp Volvo D13 engines paired with surface drives—an ideal choice for navigating shallow waters and perfectly aligned with the shipyard’s design philosophy. The yacht easily reaches a top speed of 40 knots while maintaining precise maneuverability, thanks to the Xenta joystick system and three control stations distributed around the boat.
The electronic instrumentation is cutting-edge: the Raymarine package includes augmented reality systems, a thermal camera, and multiple integrated high-resolution displays, ensuring maximum safety even during night navigation. A tropical air conditioning system comes standard, guaranteeing optimal comfort in any climate.

The interiors reflect the same balance between elegance and functionality. The layout features three cabins and two bathrooms, including a master suite with a king-size bed and a private bathroom with a separate shower. The spaces are airy, well-ventilated, and customizable, maintaining visual continuity with the exterior and a distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere.
